Origin of Northern Light
Northern Lights hails from equally popular landrace strains. It was made by combining an Afghani and Thai landrace. Northern Lights has inherited its terpenes from its amazing indica parent. This strain has given birth to several popular hybrids, including Shiva Skunk and Super Silver Haze. The smell of this strain is so strong, with a combination of pine, sweet candy, and earthy; these aromas were inherited from its potent Indica and sativa parents but more from its Afghani lineage.
It is also believed that Northern Lights originated in an area near Seattle, Washington, but was cultivated in Holland after 1985 by a company now known as Sensi Seeds.
